Safety scores (0-100) combine 6 components: payout ratio (25 pts, GAAP + FCF), FCF coverage (20 pts), growth streak (20 pts, Kings/Aristocrats/Achievers), earnings stability (15 pts), debt levels (10 pts), and red flags (-10 pts). REITs use FFO, ADRs have currency mismatch guards, and preferred stocks use fixed-coupon scoring.

3-tier waterfall: Yahoo Finance (primary) → FMP (secondary) → Alpha Vantage (tertiary). Data syncs proactively on startup, import, and nightly. Record dates are backfilled from the database. Safety scores are pre-computed nightly and cached in Memory (30min) → Database (24h) → Fresh API.

Dividend King: 50+ consecutive years of increases (e.g., JNJ 63 years). Aristocrat: S&P 500 member with 25+ years. Achiever: 10+ years. The platform tracks these for 190+ stocks and shows badges on fundamental analysis and safety pages.
